PROGRAM
Hotel arrival and meet and greet our local guide. After
leaving your luggage in your rooms, we will have an
orientation meeting to explain the route and give you all the
information and equipment necessary for your trip.
We will ride through the tracks that where constructed by the republican prisoners between 1931-1942 when there was speculation of the second world war.
The route offers some fantastic views over the valley of Ojen, where we can observe the great contrast between the zones of pasture land and the lush Oak woodland, or the covered masses of Gall Oaks in the most damp zone leading to the village of Fascina where we will crossover with the green belt of Dos Bahias until we reach our next point “Benalup”
Here we will pedal between windmills and numerous herds of horses, bulls and a multitude of migrating birds.

The relationship of Bajo Guadalquivir region with the agriculture and the livestock farming, dates from time immemorial, hunting, bulls, horses, marches, countryside
Bajo Guadalquivir is nestled to the left side of Guadalquivir River, placed in the Low Andalucía, the most Southern part of Europa
The region revolves around Guadalquivir River, that waters its fertile countryside ad flow gently into Atlantic Ocean. It leaves in its wake a beautiful landscape of extensive crops, marshes, and vineyards.

The route cycling start from Cadiz and continues through San lucar de Barrameda, chipiona, Costa Ballena, through flat land with hardly any steep slopes, obviously being a train route, it is mainly flat as you can see in the profile. It is practically in line with the coast you can see the coast and a stretch of beach.
During the trip you can observe the farmland which is traditional of the area as well as the greenhouses.
In the evening we will take the boat in Rota to Cadiz through the Guadalquivir River (Approximated time 37 minuts)

On this day we shall cycle through an ecosystem rich in fauna, flora and amazing views, pedalling through rice fields, flowers, cotton and vine plantations in direction a la Costa de La luz being able to enjoy its gastronomy in its typical beach bars

Today we enjoy five different ecosystems: marine, cliff, pine grove, marshland and dunes. Special mention should be made of the stunning Tajo de Barbate. It is more than 100 metres high and is the most famous area of cliffs on the Atlantic coast of Andalusia.
